20th Century Studios, as part of The Walt Disney Studios, offers internships across various departments. One specific example is within the Studio Production Finance department. As an Intern you will receive hands-on experience in a fast-paced full life cycle of production financial management! The Studio Production Finance department is responsible for the full life cycle financial management of 20th Century Studios slate of productions. Another area offering internships is the Visual Effects (VFX) department, supporting both Disney Live Action and 20th Century Studios. This position is for the Visual Effects (VFX) department for both the Disney Live Action and 20th Century Studios group. The VFX Summer intern will help update and modify our various visual effects databases, help as we continue to streamline our digital wrap procedure, and visit project post production offices. These internships provide hands-on experience and exposure to the fast-paced environment of film production.

- Maintaining database of facilities, VFX Supervisors, VFX Producers with availability, rates, vendor projects, and types of shows for which each may be appropriately applied
- Updating and modifying visual effects databases. The VFX Summer intern will help update and modify our various visual effects databases, help as we continue to streamline our digital wrap procedure, and visit project post production offices. The database project(s) include updating current data, as well as adding new fields and functionality.
- Assisting in streamlining the digital wrap procedure.
- Visiting project post-production offices.
- Creating and updating Show Files
- Covering desks when necessary (answering phones, rolling calls, scheduling, etc.)
- Completing general office tasks (printing, copying, phones, filing, etc.)
Required Qualifications and Skills
To be eligible for a 20th Century Studios internship, candidates typically need to meet specific qualifications and possess certain skills:
- Education: Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university studying Film/Video Production, Communications, Film/Video Production Management, or related. Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
- Age: Be at least 18 years of age
- Work Authorization: Possess unrestricted work authorization
- Skills:

- Schedule: Fully available from Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm PST for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
- Location: Burbank, CA area. This internship is a full-time commitment in the Burbank, CA area from June 2026 - August 2026
- Housing: Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank, CA area
- Transportation: Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
- Compensation: The pay rate for this role in California is $22.50 per hour. The pay rate for this internship in California is $22.00 per hour.
