Columbia University's Test-Optional Policy
Columbia University has a test-optional admissions policy. This means that applicants are not obligated to submit standardized test scores. Opting not to submit scores will not disadvantage applicant, but Columbia University encourages students to submit any materials, including ACT scores, that they believe will enhance their application. Getting into Columbia University with a low ACT score is not impossible, especially given the test-optional policy. A low ACT score within Columbia University’s score range is still relatively high-the lowest quarter of scorers achieved a 34 on average.
