A significant development on the AdventHealth University Boulevard campus is the establishment of the Full Sail University Healthcare Technology Lab powered by AdventHealth University. This collaboration between Full Sail University and AdventHealth University (AHU) aims to foster joint healthcare research projects, facilitate progress reviews, and expand learning opportunities for students.

Purpose and Objectives

The Full Sail University Healthcare Technology Lab Powered by AdventHealth University will primarily engage students across the emerging technologies degree programs at Full Sail University. This initiative seeks to:

  • Develop and demonstrate joint healthcare research projects.
  • Conduct progress reviews of ongoing research.
  • Expand learning opportunities for students in both institutions.
  • Find innovative solutions for the enhanced training of nurses and other healthcare team members, an important area of focus in addressing nursing retention and support.

Cutting-Edge Technology and Resources

The lab is fully equipped with industry-standard technology, including a Stratasys F770 Large Format 3D Printer, providing students and faculty with the tools necessary to explore and develop groundbreaking solutions in healthcare.

Resources for Students

Understanding the importance of accessible healthcare, resources are available for students. In the event that you need care when UCF Health Student Health Services is closed, resources are in close proximity to facilities for convenience. Any fees incurred at these facilities will be the student's responsibility, and there is no special discount for UCF students accessing these services. For general questions about the Student Health Center (hours of operation, appointment availability, billing inquiries, etc.), students can call the main appointment line at 407.823.2701 and leave a message with callback information. Currently enrolled UCF students also have access to a free After Hours Nurse Help Line, which provides a clinical assessment when UCF Student Health Services or a private physician’s office is closed or unavailable.
