Navigating Alcohol Education and Policies at UCF
The University of Central Florida (UCF) prioritizes the well-being of its students and fans, addressing alcohol consumption through education and clearly defined policies, especially within FBC Mortgage Stadium. Alcohol Sales at FBC Mortgage Stadium
For fans aged 21 and older attending UCF football games at FBC Mortgage Stadium, alcoholic beverages are available for purchase inside the venue. To ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements, fans should be prepared to present valid identification. It is important to note that outside alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited from being brought into the stadium.
To promote responsible consumption, several policies are in place. Alcohol sales are typically cut off at the beginning of the fourth quarter, though UCF Athletics and FBC Mortgage Stadium event management staff retain the discretion to modify this timing. Furthermore, UCF and FBC Mortgage Stadium reserve the right to refuse the sale of alcoholic beverages to any individual.
Key Alcohol Policies at FBC Mortgage Stadium:
- All guests purchasing alcohol must present valid identification.
- Alcohol purchases are limited to two beverages per person, with a limit of one beverage per person at student concession stands.
- Policies are subject to change without prior notice.
- Alcohol sales at portable and permanent concession stands on the main concourse cease at the beginning of the fourth quarter of a football game (or equivalent for other events).
- Guests passing alcohol to minors or those possessing alcohol without proof of being 21 or older are subject to ejection and/or arrest.
- Outside alcoholic beverages are prohibited.

AlcoholEdu for College: A Required Course for UCF Students
UCF mandates the completion of AlcoholEdu for College, an online course designed to provide alcohol prevention education to all students. This course utilizes student-driven narratives to explore various aspects of alcohol use, including peer support, the effects of substance use, and the benefits of abstaining or reducing consumption during college.

AlcoholEdu for College consists of two parts:

- Part Two (Follow-up Survey): Approximately 30 days after completing Part One, students are required to complete a follow-up survey. This survey reinforces the concepts learned in Part One and assesses students' understanding of the material.
Completion of AlcoholEdu for College is a mandatory requirement for all UCF students. Non-compliance may result in impacts on future registration eligibility. After completing Part One, the task will move from the "Holds" section to the "To Do" list and will remain there until the follow-up assignment (Part Two) is complete 30 days later. The AlcoholEdu module is typically assigned early in July and is listed as a post-orientation task in the checklist.
