Jim H. Mitchell Scholarship
All In Credit Union offers the Jim H. Mitchell Scholarship annually to high school seniors seeking to attend a two- or four-year college or university. This scholarship program supports students in Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Jim H. Mitchell Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- The applicant must be a graduating high school senior, planning to attend a two-year, four-year or technical college.
- The applicant must be a member of All In Credit Union and reside in their service area. A parent, grandparent or other family member’s account will not qualify the applicant as a member.
- The applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
- The applicant must submit all required attachments with the completed application.
While this is primarily a need-based scholarship, other criteria such as community involvement, school activities, sports involvement and other factors are taken under consideration for the award.
Award Information
All In Credit Union will award 28 scholarships of $2,500 to deserving graduating seniors. If awarded a scholarship from All In Credit Union, the check will be made payable to the student and the school indicated on the scholarship application. The student will present the check to the financial aid office to be added to their student account. No checks will be made payable to the student only.

Tuition Scholarship
Troy University offers a 10% tuition scholarship to all full-time employees of All In Credit Union. This scholarship aims to support the professional development of All In Credit Union employees by making higher education more accessible and affordable.
Application Process
To apply for the tuition scholarship, follow these steps:
- Complete the Troy University Application.
- If you have already created a TROY Application Profile, you will need to login.
The partnership between All In Credit Union and TROY was completed in June 2019.

Credit Union College Scholarship Program (Massachusetts)
The Credit Union College Scholarship Program, supported by Massachusetts Credit Unions and the Better Values - Better Banking campaign, offers scholarships to high school graduates in Massachusetts.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Credit Union College Scholarship Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a member of All One Credit Union.
- Be a high school senior who will be enrolled in an undergraduate college/university degree program during the 2022-2023 academic year.
Award Information
The Credit Union College Scholarship Program funds six (6) $1,500 scholarships that will be awarded to six (6) high school graduates chosen as winners from across the state. There is no fee to apply!
Carolinas Credit Union Foundation Scholarships
The Carolinas Credit Union Foundation manages scholarship funds through partnerships with credit unions in North Carolina and South Carolina. For 30 years, the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation has served as a partner in philanthropy to credit unions, with a mission to empower and inspire credit unions in the Carolinas through collaborative opportunities to enrich our communities. More than 20 credit unions in North Carolina and South Carolina have active managed funds at the Foundation.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for a scholarship from the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation, applicants must meet the following criteria:

- Be a credit union member in good standing at any North Carolina or South Carolina credit union.
- Be enrolled or plan to be enrolled as a full-time student in the upcoming year.
Available Scholarships
Available scholarships range from $500 to $5,000 and include those based on academic achievement, financial need and attendance at a community college. The Foundation added two additional scholarship categories in 2023. The Foundation Opportunity Scholarship recognizes students breaking barriers of access, such as first-generation college students, women planning to study typically male-dominated fields, or those serving and supporting underserved populations.
Application Process
Applications are completed on the scholarship portal (link to be added soon). The application includes the following components:
- Details stating financial need (if applicable). This includes household income and other factors that you think we should know about your family’s financial situation.
- Community and school activities.
Key Areas of Focus
When scoring your application, the Foundation focuses on four key areas:
- Grade Point Average (GPA): A score is automatically assigned based on your non-weighted (4.0 scale) GPA. The higher your GPA, the higher your score in this particular category.
- School Clubs and Activities: Your involvement in school clubs and on-campus volunteer activities carries considerable weight. Please be specific in describing the clubs you were a part of and why they were important to you, as well as the activities you participated in with the club(s).
- Community and Volunteer Involvement: People Helping People is a motto and core value of credit unions throughout the world. So, it is only natural that we salute young men and women who are active in volunteering in their community, and trying to make the world a better place. Please list your recent volunteer and community activities thoughtfully and carefully, as this is a key part of the application process that can help you stand out!
- Essay Question: Each year, the Foundation asks applicants to write a short essay based on a question or topic we select. While just a few paragraphs will do, we do encourage you to give careful thought to your essay, and keep your essay focused on answering the question.
In addition to the four key areas we focus on when scoring your application, the Foundation also recognizes that college is overwhelmingly expensive for many. To help, the Foundation’s scholarship application portal includes a financial need section. If you would like to be considered for a scholarship based on your financial need please complete this section, and be as specific as possible when detailing your situation. Circumstances your family is facing that pose a strain on finances.
Financial Education Resources

That’s why the Credit Union offers an innovative online Financial Education Center that provides free financial education modules to individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
Zogo Partnership
In 2021, the Foundation entered into a partnership with Zogo, a free financial education app developed by Duke University students. These students developed Zogo to provide a fun way for Gen Z to learn how to manage their finances. Zogo includes more than 300 modules providing education on a wide variety of financial topics. These include budgeting, saving, investing, cryptocurrencies, and much more! Along the way, you score points that can be turned into gift cards at major retailers!
All scholarship winners will receive an invitation to join Zogo. With university attendance and early adulthood comes many critical financial decisions that will shape your life in years to come.
