Forgetting momentarily, but not for long, that we went to drink and eat, we thrived off of a conversation over suggested food items and beer varieties at the local eateries. While waiting on our order, our empty glasses were refilled and we were delighted with a bonding conversation about various types of food and each of our preferences for those foods. Andrew, likely sensing he had happened across two foodies that had a love affair with flavors as much as he did, questioned us on what utensil is best for eating grits.

Chicken Breast with Grilled Veggies and Roasted Corn: A healthy and flavorful option, praised for being cooked well and fairly priced. We went here because there were gluten free options. They weren't designated as gluten free on the menu but the options were breadless. I got the chicken breast with grilled veggies and roasted corn. It was delicious! Everything was cooked well and it was fairly priced.
Hamburgers: Considered a hidden gem, with some reviewers claiming they are among the best in the Jackson area. A Jackson Area hidden gem!! Located across the street from Trustmark Stadium, tucked in the back corner of the Holiday Inn lobby, are some of the best hamburgers you will eat.

Wings: Highly recommended by patrons. Candace, the bartender/server, is as good as they come. Excellent sense of timing my drinks and food. I had the wings tonight and they were really good.

I’m very disappointed in the food today. I ordered a BLT and basically got lettuce and bacon only. The tomato was sliced so thin that it was barely relevant and was only on one side of the sandwich. PLEASE GET BETTER MANAGEMENT. Some of us come here because we enjoy the food, the servers and bartenders. This is the first time I’ve been truly disappointed in my food (with the exception of the time I ordered the chicken breast).
