Post-Graduate Training and Onboarding Program
AEO’s 16-week paid training and onboarding program is designed as a post-graduate opportunity to launch a career at AEO. Participants gain hands-on experience across assortments, product, inventory channels, and various business functions, with growth and development support from mentors. This program builds a foundational understanding of retail at AEO and prepares participants to transition directly into full-time positions upon completion.
Summer Internship Program
The 10-week paid summer internship program is designed for junior-level undergraduate students currently pursuing their degrees. During the program, interns work alongside a mentor and team to develop knowledge and skills in corporate retail. Interns learn directly from leaders across the organization and gain key company insights.
Internship Opportunities
Internships in other functional areas are available on an as-needed basis. AEO is always on the lookout for passionate, driven students and recent grads to join the team.

Responsibilities of Production Interns
Production Interns participate in a 10-week-long internship program in the New York Design Office. Students learn how to monitor fabric and trim, problem-solve, interact with factories, and learn about costing. This role requires someone with a creative problem-solving mind that has a high attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment. During the internship, interns work hands-on with a production team, participate in leadership roundtables, and learn all about working at AEO.
