Leadership and Goals

The summer fellowship is co-led by Dr. Daniels and his colleague, Mr. Daniels is the CEO of a non-profit human rights organization named Good of All. The organization has an overarching purpose of advocating for the fundamental freedoms enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. One of its specific foci is to promote the principles of the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as an antidote to the "rising tide" of hate and violence in society.

The fellowship aims to:

Develop a similar curriculum for higher education.
Develop a similar curriculum for the corporate world.
Develop a human rights ambassador training program for students from HBCUs and predominantly white Christian universities.
Facilitate the building of relationships between predominantly white Christian college students and students at HBCUs that have a Christian mission and culture, and equip them to be change ambassadors. The strategy aims to build unity in the body of Christ for the advocacy of civil rights and to participate in pursuing MLK’s vision of a "beloved community."

The "beloved community" is an aspirational concept, a goal to strive for. It’s about creating a violence-free society where individuals feel connected, valued, and responsible to one another.
