Starting Your Application

The UF application process begins with the online application, which takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and requires a non-refundable $30 application fee. Choosing Your Application Timeline: Early Action vs. Regular Decision

UF offers two application options: Early Action (EA) and Regular Decision (RD). These paths have different deadlines and decision notification dates.

Early Action (EA): A non-binding option with an application deadline of November 1, 2025, and a materials deadline of November 8, 2025. EA applicants receive an admission decision (admit, deny, or defer) by January 23, 2026. All EA admits are non-binding.

Submitting Application Materials

After submitting the Common App, you must submit additional materials through the Gator Portal:

Submit your STARS (Self-Reported Transcript and Academic Record System): List your high school courses and grades exactly as they appear on your transcript. Non-U.S. high school attendees should refer to international admissions information.
Upload your test scores: Self-report SAT, ACT, and/or Classic Learning Test (CLT) scores through the Gator Portal, having your score reports available. You can also send scores directly from the testing agency using the appropriate institution codes.

Test Score Policy
