Pros

Convenience: Very convenient to the law school. Close to school, close to Fresh Grocer, decent restaurants and shopping.
Safety: Great neighborhood very safe. The area is close to Walnut Street which is full of restaurants, bars, and anything you need really.
Proximity to Universities: For Penn students, the location is perfect, less than a five minute walk to school.
Food Scene: The food scene is incredible with lots of smaller, family-owned restaurants serving food from many different cultures.
Community: Charming and diverse community.
Access to Parks: CLARK PARK! The best thing about the neighborhood is that it is extremely close to the law school. There are some stores and restaurants, but it isn't vibrant.

Cons

Noise: University City can be fairly noisy due to the students and many nearby hospitals.
Restaurant Variety: Lacks the nicer restaurants you find elsewhere in Philadelphia.
Commercial Feel: Neighborhood overall feels very commercialized, corporate, and lacking in culture.
Safety Concerns: The neighborhood is not as safe as people believe. There have been multiple robberies and burglaries and a woman was recently assaulted across the street from the building.
