Discovering Asbury Preschool Programs and Tuition: A Comprehensive Guide
Since 1967, Asbury Christian Preschool has been dedicated to nurturing young minds through Christian values and educational innovation. More than just a preschool, Asbury fosters a family environment where children grow spiritually, academically, physically, emotionally, and socially. This is achieved through developmentally appropriate activities, a focus on individual needs, encouragement of independence, and the instilling of a love for Jesus.
The Asbury Difference: A Holistic Approach to Early Childhood Education
Asbury Preschool distinguishes itself through a commitment to a holistic approach to education. This extends beyond academics to encompass faith development, practical life skills, and the cultivation of essential character traits.
Curriculum and Educational Philosophy
Asbury uses The Frog Street Pre-K curriculum, a comprehensive, dual-language program designed to meet the needs of diverse learners while supporting developmental learning domains. In addition to the robust academic curriculum from Frog Street Press, Asbury includes faith and spiritual components from a Christian educational supplement written specifically to accompany each Frog Street Press unit. Through practical, real-life experiences, Asbury aims to build confidence, self-esteem, and a 'can-do' attitude in every child, preparing them for the challenges ahead while also instilling a strong moral compass and a deep sense of purpose. The curriculum celebrates the joy of discovery, guiding children on a journey toward academic excellence and faith development.
Loving and Nurturing Environment
Asbury's staff believe in loving children, families, and colleagues as Jesus loves us. The school prides itself on creating a safe environment of love and spiritual nurture for each child. Children are called by name, welcomed in worship, given words of encouragement, and experience God’s grace.
Engaging and Encouraging Staff
Asbury's staff believes in the power of encouragement and strives to foster a joy of education through active learning. The teachers come from diverse professional and personal backgrounds, all sharing a deep love for teaching children.
