Exploring the Diverse Programs of ASU's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences
Arizona State University's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences stands as the largest college within the institution, encompassing 21 schools and departments. This academic powerhouse is structured into three divisions: the humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences. Within these divisions, the College houses over 50 research centers and institutes, fostering a rich environment for exploration and discovery. Dean Kenro Kusumi currently heads the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences educates the next generation in the power of language, culture and society, critical thinking, scientific exploration and discovery. The academic heart of ASU educates and supports the largest student population within the university - over 31,000 students.

The university serves a large and very diverse student population with four campus locations in the metro Phoenix area, the fifth largest city in the United States. The university also has a campus in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. ASU began webcasting our wide variety of educational-rich programs to a world-wide audience via ASU Live in 2008. ASU is excited to introduce the ASU Live California Center channel, which broadcasts from the Herald Examiner Building in downtown Los Angeles. This cultural landmark in a modern city is the new home of ASU in Los Angeles.
