Auburn Student Portal: Your Comprehensive Guide

The Auburn Student Portal serves as a central hub for various student activities and resources. This guide provides detailed information on navigating the portal for housing, student tickets, family access, and testing accommodations.

Auburn University Housing Portal

The Auburn University Housing (AUH) Student Portal is the go-to place for all housing-related processes. Through the portal, students can:

  • Apply for housing
  • Cancel their housing application
  • Pay housing application and confirmation fees
  • Register for move-in
  • Manage housing-related tasks

Accessing the Housing Portal

During your designated timeslot, log in to the Auburn University Housing (AUH) student portal using your AU credentials. These are the Auburn username and password you created when you activated your username. Instructions for activating your username are typically located in your acceptance letter.

Housing Application Process

The application process involves several steps:

  1. Initial Page: You will be directed to a page that includes tips for filling out the application.
  2. Parent/Guardian Housing Agreement: Students 18 or younger will need to enter their parent/guardian information by clicking the “ADD” button at the top of the page.
  3. Housing Community Preferences: On the housing community preferences page, you will be able to rank all housing areas by clicking “add preference.” You will need to rank all seven areas to proceed with the application. Note that these preferences will not be used for room selection but will be used if AUH makes a manual assignment.
  4. Application Fee: After submitting your application, you will be directed to pay the $100 non-refundable application fee. Students will enter their credit/debit card information (VISA, Discover, Mastercard only) and click submit.
  5. Special Interest Community Preferences: After submitting your application, you will be directed to the special interest community preferences page. This section of the application is optional and non-binding. Special interest communities available for the upcoming academic year will be listed on this page.
  6. Roommate Matching Profile: The next page will be the roommate matching profile page where you can fill out the roommate matching profile questionnaire (optional).
  7. Roommate Search and Selection: The next page will be the roommate search and selection page. You will be able to search for a roommate by student ID number (90#) or first and last name or search for a roommate by profiles. If you have a preferred roommate, use their student ID number (preferred) or their first and last name to search for them. If you search for a roommate by profile, the system will use the questionnaire you filled out to match you with a similar profile. Click “add roommate” on the person you would like to add as your roommate.

Student Tickets

The Auburn student ticket system offers opportunities to attend athletic events. Here's what you need to know:

Ordering Tickets

  1. Access AUAccess: Log on to AUAccess and go to the My Campus tab.
  2. Follow Instructions: Read the instructions and follow them carefully to place your student ticket order or enter the new student ticket package lottery.
  3. Verify Order: To verify your order, log out of AUAccess and log back in.

Important Dates and Deadlines

  • The deadline to order or cancel student season packages and away is Aug.
  • The deadline to cancel tickets is August 18, 2025. After this date, cancelations will not be accepted. There will be no refunds for any reason.

Ticket Availability and Cancelations

Season ticket order availability for currently enrolled students is based on the number of completed semester hours at Auburn. If a student's desired ticket package sells out, periodically check the site for cancelations. When a student cancels his or her tickets, those tickets are immediately available in the system for purchase.

Away Game Tickets

Students must purchase a ticket package in order to be eligible to purchase away game tickets. Away game tickets are limited to one per student, subject to availability. Student away game pick-up begins August 21, 2025 at the Scholarship Box Office at Neville Arena. All away game tickets must be collected at one time. Tickets are issued on a first-come, first-served basis.

Student Guest Passes

The Student Guest Pass Lottery will run on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, for the limited amount of guaranteed, individual game guest passes.

Ticket Pool

Students can now donate their ticket back to a ticket pool. The ticket pool is first come/first served. Any student who does not have a ticket for a game can request a free ticket from the pool. Given the creation of the ticketing pool, there must be a system to hold students accountable to return their unwanted tickets. Path to the Plains students will not be able to enter the football ticket lottery and acquire a ticket package for 2025, but they will be eligible to claim a ticket from the ticket pool this season if they pay the Student Services fee. Tickets in the pool are first-come, first-served and are free to the person who claims it.

Considerations

Please make sure that you will be enrolled for the Fall Term. Withdrawal from school will not automatically cancel your order and clear your charges. Student tickets cannot be used if not enrolled in Fall Term classes. You will be held responsible for tickets ordered. Students who gain free access to home games will have their tickets refunded prior to the season. Students who fall into this category include, but are not limited to: NCAA student-athletes, Tiger Paws, Auburn Cheerleaders, and Auburn Marching Band members. Once rosters are finalized, these students will have their home season ticket packages canceled. They will still be responsible for away game tickets ordered.

Parent & Family Programs and the Auburn Family Portal

Parent & Family Programs offers parents and families a one-stop-shop for all questions regarding their Auburn student. As a department in Student Affairs, Parent & Family Programs is the one office on campus explicitly designed to help parents and families. The Auburn Family Portal provides both a platform and an e-newsletter for Auburn family members. You can access essential information through the Auburn Family Portal, which includes student grades, class schedules, newsletters, helpful tips, and a calendar of upcoming events.

Accessing the Auburn Family Portal

To join the Auburn Family Portal:

  1. Select "Are you a student? Enter."
  2. Select the information you want to grant access to.
  3. If the tiles say Pending, that means the student has not yet accepted the request.
  4. If the tiles say "Loading", that means the student has accepted the request and the system is waiting for data to load into the tiles.

Note: Students can revoke access to certain information at any time. It is important to have this discussion with your student.

Information Available

  • Grades: GPAs on the Parent Portal come from our university-wide system of record through the Registrar's Office (Banner) and are updated at the end of each semester when final grades are posted.
  • eBill: In order to view and pay your student's eBill, your student must add you as an authorized user on their eBill account.

Additional Information

  • Student Holds: Student holds are administrative flags placed on a student's account that can prevent them from registering for classes, accessing transcripts, or performing other academic functions.
  • Account Access: After logging in, click the person icon in the top-right corner of the page.

Testing Accommodations

Students requesting testing accommodations can have these administered by either the instructor or the OA Testing Center. Ideally, instructors or GTAs should proctor the exams to ensure students have the same access for questions. If the instructor cannot proctor due to scheduling conflicts or specific accommodations, the OA Testing Center can assist.
