Work Hours and Compensation
Student employees may work up to 29 hours per week, but during academic periods, they are typically limited to up to 20 hours per week. Required Training and Documentation
New student employees must complete several requirements before beginning work, including Sexual Harassment Prevention Training. Attendance at these sessions is paid time. Additionally, student employees must present original identification documents to the Office of Student Employment to complete form I-9. It is necessary to obtain employment; photocopies cannot be accepted. Student employees must also review the Student Employment Handbook before beginning work.
