The Summer Analyst Program: A 10-Week Immersion

The Global Technology Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week internship designed to provide Summer Analysts with a unique opportunity to gain exposure to life at Bank of America and also make significant contributions to the team. The Summer program begins with an in-person week-long orientation and induction to the firm with networking opportunities.

To prepare you for your Summer internship, you will attend an in-person, week-long orientation where you will receive Bank/Line of Business information and network with peers and Enterprise leaders across Summer Campus programs. Summer Analysts are given a true associate experience, as assignments mirror full-time responsibility and include goal-setting and a formal review process. Although the role you take on may vary, every intern will have the opportunity for robust learning through trainings, professional development, networking events, volunteer activities, speaker series, and more! During your 10-weeks with Bank of America, you’ll strengthen your key skills and competencies to help jump start your career and make a real impact on our business from day one.

Eligibility and Qualifications

Considered candidates are required to be pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree from an accredited college or university. Eligible candidates must have a graduation timeframe between November 2026 and August 2027. Candidates should possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, a drive for excellence, and a commitment to achieving sustainable results.

Analyst internship and full-time recruiting takes place on a rolling basis once our applications are open until the applications close. Assessments often begin before the deadline, so it's best to submit your application early as this will give you the best chance of being considered for the role.

Roles and Responsibilities

Project assignments within Software Engineering may include front end development, back end development, full stack development, mobile development, or software analyst roles. For all roles, teams are assigned mid-spring. Doing so offers the ability to assign program participants to real-time, business-critical needs. Participates and contributes to the delivery/release (CI/CD) events.

Technical Excellence and Innovation

Provide technical excellence to apply state-of-the-art machine learning / artificial intelligence utilizing technologies such as Spark, R, Hadoop, Scala, SQL to real world infrastructure business problems. The Global Technology division develops and deploys leading-edge technology in areas such as mobile and online banking, payments processing, technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, risk and capital management and enterprise data management. Global Technology teams remain on the cutting edge of innovative learning through our focus on immersive technology.

Work Environment and Culture

Employees in banking, markets and finance roles work directly with individual clients across the United States, as well as companies and institutional clients globally. Enterprise Credit is an integrated credit underwriting, monitoring, credit data management and credit technology transformation organization supporting clients across the bank’s eight lines of business including consumers, companies and institutions. Global Corporate & Investment Banking (GCIB) teams provide corporate clients, financial institutions and government agencies with solutions across the entire capital structure and multinational businesses to financial institutions and public-sector entities.
