  • Business Scholarship: High school graduate or GED recipient with a 2.5 GPA. Required program: Business.
  • Allied Health Scholarship: Applicant must be a full-time student at SSU that has been accepted into one of the Allied Health programs, seeking either an associate or baccalaureate degree. Applicant must be entering the first year of that program.
  • Geology Scholarship: Applicant must be majoring in B.S. Natural Sciences with Geology concentration, must have completed 12 credit hours of required Geology courses at SSU, grade of “B” or better in all Geology courses, overall GPA 3.0 or higher.
  • Portsmouth West High School Allied Health Scholarship: Graduate of Portsmouth West High School with a 3.0 GPA. Must be accepted in an Allied Health program.
  • Hatcher Residential Housing Scholarship: Applicants must have graduated from a high school or have a permanent address within a fifty (50) mile radius of Shawnee State University with a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA (high school GPA acceptable to qualify incoming freshmen). Recipients must be a full-time student at Shawnee State University living as an on-campus housing resident in Campus View Apartments, remain in good academic standing, and receive one half of annual award each semester. Previous recipients are eligible to reapply after their first year in Campus View.
  • Stanley Electric US Company Scholarship: Must be pursuing a degree in Plastics Engineering Technologies, Computer Engineering Technologies, CADD, Electromechanical Engineering Technologies, or Technical Study. Must demonstrate financial need with at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA, be full time student at SSU, remain in good academic standing and accept award in 1/2 increments.
