Internship Opportunities at The Estée Lauder Companies

The Estée Lauder Companies provides a multitude of internship opportunities for students at various levels of their education. Students have the opportunity to apply for openings in our corporate functions or at one of our brands, and they will be assigned based on their academic backgrounds and interests once they are accepted into the program.

Applications for the 2026 Lauder Summer Internship Program are now open and will close on October 8, 2025. The R&D and Packaging STEM Summer Internship Program (10-weeks) offers high-performing Engineering/Life Sciences students with real-life work experience. This 10-week summer internship program offers participants challenging and engaging experiences within critical business functions, including Marketing, Online, Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Data Analytics, and Creative. Participants work under the guidance and sponsorship of a key executive. There are 3 levels of the CEO Presidential Internship Program, each designed for students at a different stage of their education.

Creative: Creative interns at The Estée Lauder Companies participate in the ideation of new concepts and content, visualizing what new stores will look like and how products should be merchandised. They learn how to execute design direction while getting to know Creative Directors, Designers, Visual Merchandisers, Store Designers, and Copywriters.

Global Communications: As a Global Communications intern, individuals support efforts primarily in the digital/social space. This may include collaborating with digital agencies to support asset development and trafficking; spearheading social media monitoring/listening across all social media platforms; brainstorming digital/social content ideas that can be implemented as part of editorial calendars; and analyzing social media reports to provide recommendations that inform the larger strategy. As an intern, you may attend content development and social media planning meetings to support creative strategy for corporate campaigns.

Data Analytics: The Data Analytics track focuses on the evolving role of data insights and analytics in consumer growth and marketing strategies. The Data Analytics PMA will be offered various technically challenging roles in the Enterprise Marketing & Data division with a focus on data science, data analytics and customer relationship management. These roles will represent a cross section of global and regional perspectives. Data Analytics candidates should be comfortable working with large complex data sets and translating them into business insights.

Finance: The Finance & Strategy Leadership Program (FASLEAP) MBA Summer Internship is for high-potential MBA candidates that are interested in a career in Strategic Finance. As an MBA summer intern, you will have the opportunity to collaborate on projects that will support the team in reaching established goals and objectives directly relating to the success of the business. As a Global Finance intern, you will assist with projects instrumental to the Global Finance function that are aligned to strategic business priorities, with mentorship from seasoned executives.

Human Resources: Human Resources (HR) internships promote continuous leadership development, hands-on practical experience, group networking opportunities, and strategic thinking initiatives to optimize participants' learning and career growth. HR Business Partner (HRBP)/Employee Services (ESO): Projects related to employee needs for those working in our brands or one of our corporate functions.

Global Supply Chain: The Estée Lauder Companies’ Global Supply Chain consists of a vast network of suppliers through which materials and services that are integral to operations are purchased. The Global Supply Chain summer internship program is based in one of 3 locations: Bristol, Pennsylvania; Melville, New York (Long Island); or New York City.

Information Technology: As an Information Technology intern, individuals may serve in a variety of roles, helping teams to deliver best-in-class technological solutions to the business and customers. Responsibilities may include: learning how to generate actionable insights through dashboards and views - mixing sales data, market shares, product ratings information and social data.

Marketing: As a Marketing intern, individuals will gain exposure to a specific area of marketing at either the brand or corporate level. Marketing interns develop their skills through digital, product marketing, or consumer insight projects. As an intern in ELC Online, the online division of The Estée Lauder Companies, individuals will be surrounded by passionate individuals dedicated to setting the industry standard for prestige beauty e-commerce.

Research & Development & Packaging STEM: The Research & Development & Packaging STEM Summer Internship Program blends an extensive overview of the cosmetic industry with real world R&D experience. As an R&D intern, individuals will have the opportunity to collaborate on projects that will support the team in reaching established goals and objectives directly relating to the success of the business. They may also have ownership of high-priority projects instrumental to the R&D function and business, working in collaboration with multiple teams and functions within the organization. Individuals will gain exposure to state-of-the-art research, equipment, and skills training. Note: R&D roles are based in the Melville, NY facility.

Ulta Beauty Internship Program

Ulta Beauty also offers enriching internship experiences. In the spirit of Omotenashi, they welcome interns and co-ops to gain real-world beauty experience in all areas of the business. Hajimari, meaning "beginning" or "origin" in Japanese, is the name of their paid summer internship program. This program provides students the chance to explore the vast possibilities within their industry. Over the course of nine weeks, their interns are given a hands-on, holistic view of work at a global beauty company. From networking events to resume building, this opportunity will set you up for a rewarding career. Internships & Co-Ops are offered in the fall and spring for students whose class schedules can accommodate the time commitment as set by the hiring manager.

Ulta Beauty's paid internship program extends from June to August at their Corporate and Distribution Center locations.
