Bella Mente Early Learning Program: Nurturing Young Minds in Seattle

Bella Mente Early Learning Center, located at 6007 California Ave SW in Seattle, WA 98136, provides a nurturing, engaging, and secure space for children from infancy through pre-kindergarten to flourish. Operating full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, the center focuses on holistic development and hands-on learning experiences.

A Foundation of Holistic Development

In this vibrant educational setting, Bella Mente Early Learning Center encourages holistic development and hands-on learning experiences. Through a blend of structured activities and creative exploration, children are encouraged to grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually. With a focus on providing a well-rounded educational foundation, the center aims to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love for learning in every child who walks through its doors.

Authentic Montessori Education

Bella Mente is proud to offer an authentic Montessori education, ensuring a low teacher-student ratio of 1:28 in general classrooms and 1:24 in the primary classrooms. Additionally, all classrooms benefit from a classroom aide, further enhancing the learning environment and emphasizing personalized attention and support. The school is dedicated to the Montessori method and is currently an Initiate member of AMS with the goal to receive full American Montessori Society Accreditation (AMS). All of Bella Mente's experienced Montessori teachers hold certification from a Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE) approved program. Teachers in the school who do not yet hold certification are supervised by a trained Lead Teacher and are involved in continual Professional Development to ensure they are offering a high quality program.

A Parent's Perspective

One parent shares their positive experience: "I love this school! My son has been going here since he was in preK. The school was so popular they had to put him on a waiting list but we got lucky and was contacted after a week after school started he was up for admission if we choose to accept it and that was 7 years ago. He is now in 7th grade and we all enjoy him going to BMMA."
