It's been almost a decade since I've been out of here, so there's a new crop of players now but it's fun to see that the spirit of Berry baseball just hasn't changed. It's still a great group of guys focused on academics, building character and growing as men."

Alumni and the Martha Berry Spirit
The Berry Alumni Association gives the Ouida Word Dickey Heritage Award in memory of Dr. This award is given to alumni who exhibit the exemplary character and integrity reflected by Dr. Alumni, support the work of the Alumni Association, and like Dr. Alumni, alumni organizations/affiliates, Berry faculty/staff, students, trustees, donors, and friends are eligible for the award.
On an annual basis, the Berry Alumni Association solicits nominations for five Distinguished Alumni Awards. This award shall be given for selfless service over and beyond normal obligations. The length of involvement in this type of service shall be noted. Service contributions to Berry will be considered. The length of time the individual has been involved, as well as the role played, will be considered.
