Application Submission

Interested candidates can submit an application online, entering basic details and uploading their resume/CV. Candidates may apply to multiple groups within BlackRock.

Applications for European summer internships are due in late November, while APAC hiring for summer internships begins as early as February.

Pre-Interview Assessment

After submitting the application, candidates receive a link to complete a pre-interview assessment where they record answers to questions based on the program they applied to. For those applying to Software Engineering and Analytics & Modeling functions, this includes a coding challenge.

Interviews

Candidates selected for an interview should expect a first-round video interview with a member of the Blackstone team followed by a series of face-to-face meetings, if selected to move forward. Interviews are ongoing in international offices based on hiring needs. These conversations will be focused on the BlackRock Principles, your experience or your capabilities and may include a group exercise, presentation or case study.

Interviews are conducted from August to October. For US positions, interviews start to be conducted in February for programs starting the following year, and run through December.
