Cindy Springer: A Community Champion
Congratulations to our Week 6 Florida Blue Community Champion, Cindy Springer! Cindy serves as the local Director of Development for the American Lung Association, an organization dedicated to saving lives by improving lung health and preventing lung diseases. In 2023, she volunteered for a lung health study and was diagnosed with Stage 1 lung cancer. Now, as a cancer survivor, Cindy is raising critical funds for local education, advocacy, and research through the Fight For Air Climbs, a stair-climbing event. This example highlights the dedication of individuals within the community who go above and beyond to support education and well-being.
