Boston College Football Camps: Developing Athletes On and Off the Field
Boston College offers a variety of football camps and sports programs designed to enhance athletic skills, foster teamwork, and instill positive sportsmanship. Bill O'Brien Underclassmen Football Clinic
Boston College football is set to host its next camp of the summer at midday Sunday for high school athletes entering grades nine to 11, which includes the graduating classes of 2029, 2028 and 2027. This edition of BC’s summer football camps is called the “Bill O’Brien Underclassmen Football Clinic” and it will provide high-level, hands-on coaching from O’Brien and the Eagles’ football staff for a four-hour session. It is the third summer camp of the summer that O’Brien and co. Attendees will focus on various fundamental football skills, compete in specific drills, and gain exposure from college coaches working at the FBS, FCS, DII, and DIII levels. The camp welcomes athletes who play any position, from kickers and punters to quarterbacks and wide receivers, and there are already a handful of players who have posted about attending the camp on social media, especially local ones.
Comprehensive Skill Development
The Boston College football camps focus on improving the student athlete’s performance both on and off the field. Each session mimics a typical practice day that high school students would experience during the season. While the football camp at BC High is contact-free, emphasizing skill development and safety, other programs offer a broader range of athletic training.
Flag Football for Younger Players
For younger athletes, kids in grades 4-6 can learn the basics of flag football in a non-contact environment. This version of football allows for skill development and fun, providing a safe introduction to the sport.
Summer Sports Camp
Do you love ALL sports, not just football, soccer and baseball but the recreational ones too like swimming, ultimate frisbee, floor hockey and wiffle ball? Then this is the camp for you! Spend the morning playing a wide variety of active sports and games on the field and the courts both indoors and out. Develop skills, learn to play a new game, work as a team and meet some like-minded friends! Counselors are coaches and mentors. Their goal is to make sure each participant is having fun, encouraging teamwork, and instill positive sportsmanship.

Baseball Camp
The Baseball Camp is designed for the player who wants to develop and sharpen his baseball skills. The emphasis of this camp is both on the fundamentals of baseball and on having fun. Our pool is fully staffed with lifeguards and campers will be required to pass a basic swim test in order to swim without a life jacket. The training sessions will be limited to 20 players per session. There will be a 4:1 player to coach ratio. These small group sessions will afford the high school player with the ability to get plenty of instruction and repetition. Participants will also be able to take advantage of our indoor batting facilities in the event of inclement weather. This training session will be limited for a 4:1 player to coach ratio. Basketball Camp
The ultimate goal of BCH Basketball Camp is to improve the level of play for each camper and provide him with a rewarding and fun basketball experience. Boys will learn the fundamentals of basketball and sharpen skills for an all-around better game. A low camper-to-counselor ratio ensures that participants have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Soccer Camps: Skill Enhancement and Tactical Knowledge
Boston College offers soccer camps tailored to different age groups and skill levels. The high school program emphasizes learning and improving soccer skills for players in the U14 to U16 age range. This camp focuses on soccer tactics and individual skill development through a comprehensive camp experience. The goal is for all campers to have a fun, productive week of soccer that will enhance their skills, tactical knowledge, and passion for the game. Skill development includes ball mastery and control, offensive and defensive positional play, and technical and tactical training.
For younger players, the program emphasizes learning and improving basic soccer skills. This camp is perfect for players who want to advance their soccer skills and enjoyment of the game. The goal is for all campers to learn introductory soccer tactics, build individual skills, and have fun.
Summer Strength and Conditioning Program
The 8-week summer program helps student-athletes build a strong foundation through a balanced blend of mobility, speed, power, strength, and conditioning-all wrapped in an engaging, supportive, and fun environment in our newly-built Cadigan Wellness Complex. Each session focuses on developing athleticism, improving movement quality, and building confidence, while teaching proper technique and safe training habits. Designed for all ability levels, this program prepares middle and high school athletes to move better, perform better, and feel better heading into the school year and their sports seasons.

Club Sports at Boston College
In addition to the football camps and sports programs, Boston College boasts a diverse range of club sports. These clubs provide students with opportunities to compete, develop skills, and build community around their shared athletic interests.
Badminton
The Boston College Club Badminton team was established in 2023 and is open to both male and female players.
Baseball
The Boston College Club Baseball team, which was founded in the fall of 2013, competes in the North Atlantic - North Division of the NCBA (National Baseball Club Association).
Women's Basketball
The Women's Club Basketball team was founded in 2014 and competes in the New England - East Division of the National Club Basketball Association (NCBBA) Women's.
Equestrian
The Boston College Club Equestrian Team is a member of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) and practices throughout the school year at ABD Equestrian under Coach Allyssa Dean.

Field Hockey
The Boston College Club Field Hockey team competes in the National Field Hockey League. They compete against local New England teams and at the NFHL Fall Championship Tournament in November.
Women's Hockey
The Boston College Women's Club Hockey team was founded in the spring of 2014, and competes in the Independent Women's Club Hockey League (IWCHL). Additionally, the team is a member of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA).
Women's Lacrosse
The Boston College Women's Club Lacrosse team competes in the Northeast League of the Women's Collegiate Lacrosse Association (WCLA). The team won the national championship in 2022 and 2023.
Rugby
The Boston College Rugby Football Club, founded in 1967, competes in the Liberty Rugby Conference and against top competition across the country.
Running
Boston College Club Running, formerly WeRunBC, was established in 2015 and became a club team in 2018. The team competes competitively as a member of NIRCA (National Intercollegiate Running Club Association).
Squash
The Boston College Women's Club Squash team began in 2009.
Synchronized Skating
The Boston College Club Synchronized Skating team was founded in 2008 and currently compete in the Collegiate division of US Figure Skating Synchronized Skating.
Table Tennis
The Boston College Club Table Tennis team is a co-ed team which competes in tournaments held by the National Collegiate Table Tennis Association (NCTTA) at least once per semester.
Men's Ultimate Frisbee
The Boston College Men's Ultimate team, founded in 1977, competes in college Ultimate's top division and premier Northeast region.
Women's Ultimate Frisbee
Boston College Women's Club Ultimate Frisbee team, the Flix, was founded in 2006.
Women's Volleyball
The Boston College Women's Club Volleyball competes at the Division 1 Level of the Northeast Women's Club Volleyball League.
