Administrative Intern
The administrative intern will learn about administrative duties for a non-profit organization directly from organization management. For example, at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley, this is a 3 month internship at the Westlake Office.
Marketing Intern
The marketing intern will learn the ins and outs of marketing for a 501c3 non-profit organization with direct mentorship from the Marketing Coordinator and the Area Clubs Director. At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley, this is a one semester or quarter long hybrid remote internship.
Project Management Intern
The project management intern will learn the skills necessary to organize teams, projects, and events at a 501c3 non-profit organization with direct mentorship from the Organization Leadership. At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley, this is a one semester or quarter long hybrid remote internship.

Teen Internship Program
The Teen Internship Program is a work-based learning program that helps teens build workforce readiness skills. This hands-on learning provides opportunities for teens to develop real world work experience by, developing relationships with adult mentors, and fulfill other policies such as dress codes, ethic codes, behavior, and more. BGCSU offers a safe space for teens to gain job readiness employability by first filling out an application, completing mandatory trainings and then following a volunteer “work” schedule.
Career Launch Program
Through Career Launch, Club teens embark on a journey to explore possible vocations, make sound educational decisions and find success in the world of work. Students may attend one Career Launch class per week, with classes offered Monday through Thursday. Teens who complete "Career Launch" can apply for a paid part-time internship with a local business. Interns work Monday through Thursday for five weeks, following a one-week youth employee onboarding.
St. Louis Internship Program (SLIP)
SLIP’s mission is to provide hope and opportunity for high school students in the St. Louis region through paid summer internships, intensive employability training, and year-round college and career planning, in partnership with businesses and community organizations, and to build the St. Louis community by developing motivated, well-trained, and talented future employees. SLIP internships are much more than just summer jobs. Eight-week paid summer internships are preceded by a guided application process and rigorous work readiness training and followed by year-round college access activities. An intensive guided application process develops skills needed for college and job applications. In ten required Saturday training sessions prior to the internships, students set personal career goals and develop job seeking, work readiness, and practical office skills.
