Bright Learning Academy (BLA) is dedicated to providing a high-quality education within a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment. Founded in 2020 and led by Jialing Hsu, a bilingual educator with over 25 years of experience, BLA envisions a school that values multiculturalism, embraces the whole child, and celebrates the curiosity of children. Located in Norcross and Peachtree Corners, BLA was created to fulfill a need for a high-quality early learning center that combines inquiry-based learning with foreign language immersion.

Core Values and Educational Philosophy

At Bright Learning Academy, the focus is on developing children into global citizens and lifelong learners through inquiry-based learning and foreign language education. BLA aims to provide care and an early learning environment which is tailored to each individual child's needs, in safe, secure, happy, and relaxed surroundings. The academy embraces multiculturalism, values each child as a whole person, and celebrates their natural curiosity.

BLA's teaching pillars are built upon the "3 C's": competent students, confident students, and courteous students. Innovative strategies are implemented to ensure mastery of fundamental reading and math skills, preparing students for elementary school and beyond. By immersing children in a foreign language environment, BLA supports cognitive development, enhances focus, and encourages a global perspective from an early age, helping them acquire new communication skills naturally.

Infant/Toddler Program: BBLA Seasons of Early Learning Curriculum

The Infant/Toddler program utilizes the BBLA Seasons of Early Learning Curriculum. This curriculum is designed to cater to each individual child's needs in a safe, secure, happy, and relaxed environment.

BBLA Before & After School Program

The Before & After School Program is designed to support working parents by providing homework assistance and a range of engaging activities. School-age children receive homework support, which makes evenings at home more relaxed and family-focused. Activities include large group games, board games, musicals, play & talent shows, arts and crafts, science, and much more.

BBLA Summer Camp

Providing a fun and enriching experience is the primary goal of BLA's Summer Camp. The curriculum includes a diverse range of activities designed to stimulate the bodies and minds of active, curious, and imaginative kids. The summer camp program caters to various interests, including sports and arts and crafts. The activities support and enrich what children learn in the classroom, ensuring that summer is both fun and educational.

BBLA On My Way Pre-K

BBLA is planning to offer the "On My Way Pre-K" program soon.

Safety and Security

Bright Learning Academy prioritizes the safety and security of every child. The facility is designed to ensure that every child is safe while on the property. Safety measures include cameras that parents can securely access, touchless check-in, and parent communication through an app called Engaged.

Passionate and Experienced Professionals

The leadership team at Bright Learning Academy brings over 33 years of combined experience in childcare. Jialing Hsu holds a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia and has extensive experience from both American and international education systems. Before founding BLA, she spent 13 years as a dedicated pre-kindergarten teacher in Dunwoody. The teaching staff consists of certified, highly experienced, and talented teachers who love children. They have multiple years of experience teaching and being effective in virtual classrooms for students across the nation, from Philadelphia to Los Angeles, and are committed to providing personalized care and attention to each child.
