General Education Courses

Carrington College offers general education courses to help students meet prerequisite requirements for other programs. These courses are offered frequently, approximately every 2 months, and delivered using an approach to engage students and encourage interaction and participation. Prerequisite courses or “prereqs” are courses that must be completed prior to enrolling in specific Carrington College programs or programs at another institution. Not all Carrington College programs have prerequisites, and prerequisite courses may vary by program. Some general education (GE) courses may also be available online. Completion of a program’s general education requirements at Carrington College does not guarantee entry into any of the programs.

If you intend to transfer Carrington College courses to another institution, you must contact that institution directly to determine the transferability of units. Accepting transfer credits is always and only up to the receiving institution.
