CCAC annually educates more than 30,000 credit students through almost 140 degree, certificate, diploma, and transfer programs. In addition to these credit programs, CCAC provides thousands of students with access to noncredit and workforce development courses. As a learning-centered institution, CCAC's mission is to provide affordable access to quality education in a dynamic, diverse, and supportive learning environment. This prepares the region’s residents for academic, professional, and personal success in our changing global society.

CCAC's quality programs enable students to transfer credits to nearly 500 colleges and universities and support regional workforce needs with accessible instruction available day, evening, weekend, and online in Allegheny County and beyond.

Courses for Academic Advancement

CCAC offers courses that allow students to get ahead academically. These courses are open to students from both public and private schools and are available from June 15-July 23. Students should check with their school before enrolling to ensure credit consideration.

Engaging with Technology

CCAC provides access to state-of-the-art 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines, and more. This allows students to explore technology and develop skills in these cutting-edge areas.

Courses for Seniors

CCAC offers several programs for senior Allegheny County residents through the generosity of the Allegheny County Department of Aging Area Agency on Aging. CCAC hosts free classes at its 40+ senior centers in Allegheny County for adults ages 60 and older. These classes are taught by CCAC instructors. To participate, register at your local senior center. Residents of Allegheny County ages 65 and older can take up to six credits of class instruction per semester tuition free. The cost of books and classes is the student’s responsibility and varies depending on the course.
