Launch Your Career with Charles Schwab's Internship Programs
Charles Schwab is dedicated to fostering an inclusive workplace where every individual feels valued and has equal opportunities for growth. This commitment extends to its internship and early career programs, designed to provide students and recent graduates with rewarding professional experiences.
Early Career Opportunities at Schwab
Schwab offers a wide array of internship and early career opportunities across various domains, including client services, marketing, fintech, and human resources. These programs are designed to provide participants with hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to leadership.
Internship Academy
The Internship Academy is a unique and engaging opportunity open to students within one year of graduation. Interns spend their nine-week paid summer internship engaging in a blend of learning programs, team-building opportunities, networking, and hands-on work projects. This structured approach allows interns to develop their skills, build relationships, and gain valuable insights into the financial services industry.
Pawan T., a rising senior at the University of Texas at Dallas, found Schwab to be a welcoming place for his first workplace experience, noting that Schwab has helped him build a routine for himself. Alexandra also had a positive experience as a part of the Client Service and Support cohort in the summer Schwab Internship Academy. Randy also started off as an intern in Schwab's Intern Academy.
Internship positions for the 2026 program will be posted starting on August 29, 2025, with postings closing at 12:00 PM CT. It is recommended that candidates check back every 3-5 days for new postings, especially for technology internship positions, which will be posted on weekends from August 29th - October 5th. Since interns are considered a primary pipeline for full-time opportunities, every intern candidate must be available for full-time employment upon graduation by summer of 2027. All positions will be on site at one of Schwab's service centers or Branch locations, and interns must be able to work full-time, five days a week during business hours for the full nine-week program.
