Christian Student Fellowship: Unleashing a Generation of Disciples
Christian Student Fellowship (CSF) is a vibrant and impactful non-denominational Christian campus ministry. It aims to unleash a generation of disciples on their campus and into every sphere of society around the globe. CSF operates at the University of Kentucky, with a strong emphasis on community, discipleship, and service.
What is Christian Student Fellowship?
CSF, as it's commonly known, is a Christian campus ministry. It's characterized by its non-denominational approach and its focus on creating a community for students at the University of Kentucky.
Staff and Leadership
The organization is primarily staffed by recent graduates of UK who dedicate a year or two post-graduation to serve the UK community through full-time work at CSF. These younger staff members are guided and invested in by a few long-term staff members, providing a blend of youthful energy and experienced leadership.
Events and Activities
CSF offers a wide array of activities and programs designed to engage students and foster spiritual growth. Over 150 unique events are hosted throughout the year to connect with students at UK. These events serve as entry points for students to learn more about CSF and connect with other like-minded individuals.
Small Groups and Bible Studies
Discipleship is a core component of CSF's ministry. Dozens of freshmen groups and bible studies are available, providing opportunities for students to delve deeper into their faith and build relationships with one another. Additionally, over 400 CSF students participate in weekly "M-groups" for discipleship and accountability, creating a supportive environment for spiritual development.

Core Beliefs
CSF's foundation is rooted in several core Christian beliefs, which guide its mission and activities.
God
CSF believes in one God eternally coexisting in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. He is the source of all creation, sustains it, and is in the process of redeeming it.
Jesus
Jesus of Nazareth is the incarnation of God the Son. He is fully God and fully human. He holds all authority in heaven and on earth as both Savior and Lord. His sinless life, death on the cross, and resurrection made human salvation possible. He ascended into heaven and serves as our high priest and advocate. God put on flesh in Jesus to rescue us from our pride and trying to save ourselves, so that we can be restored into a dynamic relationship with Him.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is a person, co-equal with God the Father and God the Son. He actively works in the world to glorify Jesus and the Father, convicting people of sin, righteousness, and judgment. The Holy Spirit indwells believers individually and corporately in the Church, producing fruit within the life of each Christian and fostering Christ-like character.
The Bible
The Bible, consisting of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God. It serves as the ultimate authority and standard for faith and practice for Christians. CSF seeks to assert what the Scriptures clearly assert and allows freedom in other cases.

The Church
The Church is the body of Christ on earth, a unified community of believers throughout the world. Individuals are added to the Church upon surrendering to Christ. Every Christian is called to be a serving minister, utilizing their gifts given by Jesus and through the Holy Spirit. The Church's mission is to live out the Great Commission.
Human Beings
Human beings were created by God to walk in fellowship with Him and to glorify Him. However, all have sinned and fall short of God's glory. Because of this, we rely on God's mercy, compassion, grace, and forgiveness. Each human is made in the image of God and is valued and loved by Him.
Salvation
Salvation is by God alone through Jesus Christ alone, by grace through faith.
The Christian Life
The Christian life begins at conversion, marked by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, bringing new life and joy. Every person who comes to the Father through Jesus becomes a disciple, dedicated to spiritual growth, Christian community, and Kingdom priorities.
Unleashed Scholarship Opportunity
CSF offers an "Unleashed Scholarship Opportunity" for CSF students or alumni who are serving. This one-time scholarship supports individuals serving on the mission field.
