Job Summary

The Authentics Intern is responsible for assisting with memorabilia collections, player signings, game-day sales, and inventory tracking at the in-stadium Reds Authentics store. Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Must be pursuing or recently received a bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or a similar field.
  • Experience: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Skills: Excellent communication (written & verbal), organizational, and interpersonal skills. Strong background in project management, business, and marketing acumen. Excellent time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or a similar field.
  • Experience: Experience in professional or collegiate sports is a plus. Retail sales or management experience is also beneficial.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Memorabilia Collection & Autograph Signings (10%): Assist the Club Authentics Director & Manager in planning authentic game-used memorabilia collections and autograph signings.
  • Memorabilia Collector Relations (15%): Work with memorabilia collectors to fulfill their requests and maintain strong relationships.
  • Marketing Collateral Development (10%): Develop marketing collateral and support for authentic memorabilia.
  • Inventory Management (15%): Assist in the management of all inventory related to game-used and autographed memorabilia, including the game-day store, online auctions, and corporate sales.
  • Game-Day Store Management (15%): Assist in the management of the Authentics game-day store for all home games.
  • Accounting/Finance Responsibilities (5%): Track and assist with daily sales/receipts and month-end invoicing/inventory.
  • Sales Responsibilities (15%): Involve direct and retail sales.
  • Auction and Marketing Initiatives (15%): On non-game days, create and promote new auctions, fulfill customer requests, and develop new marketing initiatives to promote and generate sales.
