The Nicholas J. Schrup Library’s commitment to access extends beyond the Clarke University community. Thanks to participation in the State Library of Iowa’s Open Access Program, anyone who lives in the state of Iowa may check out books and DVDs with a valid form of identification, such as a driver’s license. This access also extends to the faculty, staff, and students of all Dubuque area colleges, members of the BVM order, Diocesan and Archdiocesan Clergy and personnel. It is important to note that Dubuque and local community members are only able to check out books that the library has in its collection.
