The Collin College Career Center stands out for its commitment to student success. The Career Center offers services such as résumé assistance, mock interviews, job fairs, and employer-led workshops, in addition to its online tools. In fact, Collin College began using Handshake in 2021 and has been recognized by Handshake for its commitment to helping its students pursue their educational and career goals. The annual awards highlight colleges and universities that show strong performance in three areas: student engagement, employer engagement, and reporting and analytics. According to Handshake, 40 institutions nationwide received Career Spark Awards this year.

Students who meet eligibility guidelines may apply for a variety of on-campus student employment opportunities. On-campus positions offer a valuable career-preparation experience. These roles allow you to earn money to help cover educational expenses while contributing to the Collin College community-all without leaving school grounds. Eligibility for On-Campus Employment
To be eligible for employment, students must meet certain criteria. Note that students enrolled in Maymester and June sessions without 6 credit hours will be taxed accordingly.
