Collin College provides extensive online resources available to current students, faculty, and staff at any time. These resources include a vast collection of content, articles, books, journals, media, eBooks, and videos. A single search box allows you to search for information on a topic and finding authoritative information.
WorldCat Discovery serves as a starting point, enabling you to search the majority of the libraries' resources. In addition to WorldCat Discovery, you can search individual databases by selecting "Search Individual Databases" from "Find Books, Articles, and More" within CougarWeb.

Community patrons can obtain a library card number and a password of their choosing. To obtain a library card, please visit a campus library. Community patrons can obtain a password by clicking on the SET/RESET PASSWORD button or by visiting or contacting any campus library. A library card is available to any resident of Collin County with a current address on file with the Collin College libraries.
Printing Services: Accessible and Convenient
Printing is available to students enrolled in the current semester. Access to Library lab printers is also available at print.collin.edu or pharos.collin.edu/myprintcenter/.
Printing Costs and Adding Funds
A print allowance is provided to students. Once the print allowance has been used up, additional funds can be added. If a student is unable to use the GET app, funds can be added at the Student Financial Services offices (Bursar/Cashier) during their business hours.

Calculator Checkout
Calculators are available to check out to current credit students for 4 hours for use anywhere on campus. Limited quantities may be available for 14-day and semester checkout for use off campus. Visit the Checkout Desk at any campus library for more information to check out a calculator. Desmos offers an online graphing calculator, mobile apps, and other math tools.
Library Cards for Minors
Minors (children under the age of 18) can obtain a library card with the signature of an adult (a person 18 or older). Proof of residency is required.
Loan Periods, Renewals, and Holds
Loan periods vary depending on the type of material. Two (2) renewals are allowed per item, unless there are account blocks. Some circulating items may be placed on hold and transferred to another campus.
Library Fees: Policies and Payment
Fees accrue on a daily basis except for Collin College closure events. Overdue fines and fees for lost or damaged materials are handled through the Circulation Department. All charges are paid at the time of return.
Library patrons have the option of appealing the Library fees by filling out a Fee Appeal Form online. Appeals are reviewed by the manager of the library where the fee originated, based on the information provided and the nature of the life event. The library aims to work with empathy during difficult times to ensure the timely return of materials.
