2025-26 Season Outlook
The Mavericks have a wealth of riches at times on the mound and one of the guys that may go unnoticed at times is senior CJ Zwahlen. The Laguna Niguel, Calif. native has pitched at the back of the bullpen for three straight weeks now and is leading the team in saves with two. Zwahlen has pitched 8.1 shutout innings allowing three hits and striking out eight. On the pitching side, the Mavericks finished the weekend with a 1.85 team ERA. Kolby Felix has almost cemented himself as the leadoff guy followed by either Ezra Farmer and Cartwright. Colorado Mesa batted .355 in the series with Montana State Billings with five players finishing the weekend with batting averages North of .400. The Mavericks had 44 hits on the weekend with only 11 of those going for extra bases.
Key Players
Freshman righthander Jackson Eisenhauer has had a solid start to his first collegiate campaign and was awarded the RMAC Pitcher of the Week after his start against Montana State Billings. Eisenhauer pitched five shutout innings to earn his first collegiate win. For the season, the Los Angeles, Calif. native is 1-1 with a 2.38 ERA in 11.1 innings pitched.
Matchups
This wont be the first meeting between the Mavericks and Vikings but it will be the second. The two schools met up in the 2011 NCAA Central Region Tournament with Colorado Mesa coming out on top 4-3 in that game that was played in St. Augustana has gotten off to a hot start with an 8-0 record including 6-0 in the NSIC. Jake Lundquist is the Vikings leading hitter early this season. Lundquist is hitting .529 with three doubles and two home runs. Ethan Hoffman has been flat out dominant on the mound this season. He has pitched 10 innings and allowed six hits and 15 strikeouts.

This season, all RMAC athletic events broadcast by its 15 full-member institutions and associate members will only be available for purchase via a single-game pass or a monthly or annual subscription. RMAC fans can purchase monthly and annual subscriptions that will provide them with access to all regular-season, championship, and archived broadcasts on the RMAC Network. A monthly subscription costs $25, and an annual subscription costs $130. Additionally, a discounted annual subscription price will be available to students, faculty, and staff of each member institution throughout the year.
