Tuition and Fees

As an Archdiocesan secondary school, Conwell-Egan Catholic's tuition is determined by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Tuition costs are announced in January for the upcoming school year. The school fees are determined by Conwell-Egan Catholic and announced at the same time as the tuition. For the 2025-2026 school year, the tuition is $9,150, and the school fee is $1,960, bringing the total cost to $11,100.

The school fee covers a wide range of expenses, including all athletic and academic programs (including AP and dual-enrollment courses), a student identification card with lanyard, a yearbook for all students, and all technology costs. This fee also provides students a parking pass, free admission to all non-formal dances, school shows, and home sporting events, and the cost of participating in Spirit Night.

Payment Options

Tuition is traditionally paid over an 11-month period from June through April. A tuition schedule, including discounts for three or more children, is available. Collaborative Testing Program

8th-grade students have the opportunity to take the HSPT (High School Placement Test) one (1) time and send their test scores to up to three (3) AOP High Schools for scholarship awarding review purposes. Testing is free to all students taking the Collaborative Test. AOP Elementary (102 schools) and Independence Mission Schools (IMS, 14 schools) 8th-grade students will not have to pre-register for the test and will take the Collaborative Test in their local school building. Public/Private/Charter/Other 8th-grade students will have the opportunity to test at one of your school locations on the designated test dates that you have chosen for the beginning of October. The program is sponsored by and funded through the generosity of the Connelly Foundation. Participation is handled through the parish elementary schools, and awards are made on a vicariate basis. While students will not have to pre-register for the exam, nor will they have to take a separate scholarship test, qualified students will have to notify the Office of Catholic Education that they wish to be considered for the scholarship.

Neumann Scholars Program

The Neumann Scholars Program awards approximately 40 scholarships annually. The distribution of the scholarships will be determined by the number of students in each county who qualify for the scholarship and elect to submit their scores for consideration. More information as it relates to qualification and score submission will follow in the fall. The scholarship announcement is scheduled for November.

Danaher Lynch Family Foundation (DLFF) CEC Scholarships

The Danaher Lynch Family Foundation is pleased to offer DLFF CEC Scholarships for the Class of 2030. DLFF is a strong supporter of Catholic education in the Lower Bucks County area. Please include with that letter any school, community, and extra-curricular activities in which you are involved. Name at least one particular accomplishment you are proud of. To maintain eligibility, students must maintain a "B" average or better each semester while attending CEC. The award is a $2,000 one-year scholarship that is applied directly to tuition. Selection of the scholarship award will be determined by the Duffy family and any members of a committee chosen by them. All applications must be submitted to Conwell-Egan Catholic High School by December 1, 2025.

Gifts from Gwyn Scholarships

Gifts from Gwyn offers two separate scholarships, one to a current CEC student, and one to a Holy Family Regional student headed to CEC for the Class of 2030.

Eligibility for Holy Family Students

Open to all current eighth-grade students at Holy Family Regional. The student must be in good academic and disciplinary standing and must submit an Application for Admission to CEC. The deadline to apply is December 15, 2025.

Open to all current CEC Students in grades 9-12. Must be in good academic and disciplinary standing. The deadline to apply is December 15, 2025.

Szwak Family Scholarship Foundation

CEC is proud to announce an additional scholarship opportunity for the Class of 2030. The Szwak Family Scholarship Foundation will offer four (4) incoming freshmen a four-year $4,000 scholarship.

Ellis Trust for Girls

The Ellis Trust for Girls (The Ellis Trust) helps eligible young women in Philadelphia excel in high school and be prepared for post-secondary success. For girls attending independent and private/parochial high schools, we award grants to help cover the cost of tuition. Online applications for the Ellis Trust tuition assistance grants for girls attending independent high schools and parochial high schools are now available and must be submitted online by midnight March 15, 2025. Applicants must use the Ellis Trust online application to be considered for a tuition assistance grant.

Monsignor Mitchell Scholarship Fund

Monsignor Mitchell served as a priest of the Archdiocese from 1939 through 1981. During that time, he was the Pastor of Saint Ignatius of Loyola and Saint Francis de Sales Parishes in West Philadelphia, where he was known for his faithful ministry to African American Catholics. In light of this, the Monsignor Mitchell Scholarship Fund will support high school students in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia who are Catholic and African American, with academic ability and financial need. One (or more, if economically feasible) one-year scholarship(s), up to $2,500, will be awarded annually based upon the determination of the Selection Committee.

Breakaway Scholarship Program

Qualified scholarship candidates that are accepted into the Breakaway Scholarship program during their final year of middle school will receive a one-year scholarship to cover full or partial tuition and school fees at one of the high schools in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

Hallahan Scholarship

Hallahan will be offered a scholarship of $1,500 (per year) to honor their commitment to a Catholic education and to further recognize the respected connection among all Archdiocesan high schools.
