MD Anderson's reputation as a leader in cancer care is well-established. News & World Report’s “Best Hospitals” survey has ranked MD Anderson the nation’s top hospital for cancer care for 14 of the past 17 years. The institution has been consistently recognized as one of the nation’s top two hospitals for cancer care since the survey's inception in 1990.

As the largest and busiest cancer center in the United States, residents are exposed to a large volume of urologic oncology cases and patients, including infrequently encountered rare urologic malignancies. During the rotation, residents are fully integrated among the house officers and participate fully in operative, ambulatory, and didactic settings.
