The Daily Wire is seeking a Legal Intern for the Spring or Summer of 2024. This internship offers a unique opportunity to delve into the inner workings of a complex and fast-paced business. As a Legal Intern, you will be immersed in the Legal department, taking on projects, responsibilities, and tasks that allow you to apply your education in a practical setting. This experience is designed to sharpen your communication skills, instill professional practices, and enhance your time and project management abilities.
Responsibilities of the Legal Intern
The Legal Intern role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, providing a well-rounded experience in the legal field:
- Legal Research: Conduct comprehensive legal research on various topics, including case law, statutes, regulations, and legal precedents. This research will support internal decision-making processes.
- Document Review: Assist in the meticulous review and organization of legal documents, such as contracts, court filings, and other relevant paperwork. This includes summarizing and categorizing documents for easier reference.
- Drafting/Writing: Under the guidance of experienced attorneys, draft legal documents, including legal memoranda, pleadings, contracts, and other legal correspondence. You may also contribute to the development of persuasive legal arguments, motions, answers, or briefs, as well as prepare internal memoranda analyzing assigned issues.
