Application Process: A Step-by-Step Guide
CASPA Application
To apply to the PA program, you must create an account in the CASPA system and select Kettering College from the list of colleges. The Central Application Service for Physician Assistants (CASPA) serves as the primary application portal. Applicants must create an account and complete the online application, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.

- September 1: CASPA Application Deadline. Applications for the Duke PA Program must be verified (Green Status) no later than September 1.
Supplemental Application
In addition to the CASPA application, candidates must complete a supplemental application specific to the Duke PA Program.

GRE Requirement
The GRE Exam is required for ALL candidates. No other exam may be used in lieu of the GRE.

Prerequisites
All prerequisite courses should have been taken no earlier than 10 years prior to application. You may only have TWO outstanding prerequisites at time of application. All courses must be completed by December 31 of the application year with a grade of “B-” or better.

Candidates who have been interviewed are notified of the admission committee’s decision as early as 10 days following interview and no later than March 1. Candidates confirm their place in the class by submitting the $1,125 registration and deposit fee by the specified date on the acceptance letter. A ranked alternate list from those candidates who have been interviewed for a position in the class will be maintained.
Important Considerations
No Transfer Credit or AP Credit
Applicants to the Duke PA Program should be aware that all courses within the curriculum are required, no transfer credit is accepted, no AP credit is accepted, and no credit is granted for pre-admission experiential learning.
