Financial Aid Opportunities
Dwight School has a long-standing commitment to its financial aid program, which allows students to receive an independent school education regardless of their family’s financial circumstances. As a central part of our commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Dwight values enrolling a student body with diverse talents, interests, and backgrounds.
Domestic and International families from a wide range of incomes and financial situations can qualify for financial aid. There are no specific benchmarks for income levels to qualify for financial aid. Financial aid awards range from small grants to full tuition and fees for students applying to kindergarten through grade 12. Preschool aid (2s-Pre-K) is limited to partial grants.

Applying for Financial Aid
If you anticipate needing financial assistance now or in the future, please indicate this during the admissions process. Families who initially enrolled at Dwight Global without a financial aid package are eligible to apply for aid only if they have experienced a significant change in circumstances.
Dwight works with a financial aid platform called Clarity to determine a family’s contribution amount. The school uses the Clarity financial aid system to help evaluate award decisions fairly. Providing additional narrative details in the application will assist our Financial Aid Committee to understand any extenuating circumstances that are unique to your family. Check the financial aid box on the Ravenna admissions application.
Financial Aid applications for new applicants are due by December 15th, 2025. No consideration for financial aid will be made unless the student has been accepted to the School. Qualified families whose applications for financial aid are submitted correctly and on time are given priority in the distribution of funds. New applicant families who submit aid applications after December 15, 2025, are evaluated on a funds available basis.
Financial Aid Policies
Recipients of financial aid must reapply to confirm need-based eligibility every two years, and all financial aid information is kept confidential. The School and Foundation endeavor to support as many current and newly enrolled students as possible; however, our financial aid budget is limited and Dwight receives more applications than our funding can support. Financial aid decisions are based on demonstrated need. All financial aid applications are reviewed confidentially, comprehensively and individually.
Additional Financial Planning Options
To simplify their financial planning and reduce the cost for an independent school education, families may make lump sum payments in advance. As an alternative to paying your school fees termly, you can now opt to pay your school fees and extras via monthly repayments through School Fee Plan.

Other Important Considerations
- VAT on Education Services: As of January 1, 2025, all education services provided by a private school were made subject to VAT at the standard rate of 20%.
- Withdrawal Policy: Once the Student has commenced his/her enrolment at the School, Parents must give one full Term’s written notice before withdrawing the Student from the School or a Term’s fees will be payable in lieu of notice. The School reserves the right to retain the Deposit for enrolments of less than one academic year.
