Hands-on Internships
Internships are individually chosen for each student, allowing them to gain experience in their desired field of work. Dynamy offers a wide array of internship opportunities, enabling students to explore diverse interests and gain practical experience. Through internships, students gain a taste of real-world responsibilities and consequences, preparing them for future endeavors.
A former Dynamy intern shared: "My adviser helped me explore various internship opportunities and set up interviews. Both internships were great and have helped me shape a plan for my future." Another intern highlighted the value of a teaching internship: "Through this program, I obtained a teaching internship where I learned hands on experience in the classroom. I mastered how to manage a classroom and how to effectively work with students."

Interns live in apartments with other participants, fostering independent living skills. Learning to live on their own presents challenges, but the experience is ultimately rewarding. Students develop essential life skills such as budgeting, time management, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
One intern recounted, "Learning to live on my own has brought many challenges but I have really enjoyed it!" Another emphasized the importance of apartment living: "Additionally, I worked to improve on a lot of life skills from budgeting to time management to boundary setting/apartment living, etc."
Mentorship and Advising

Adventure Challenge
The program includes a 10-day adventure challenge that promotes team building and personal growth. Participants engage in activities such as hiking, canoeing, and camping, fostering camaraderie and resilience. The adventure challenge encourages participants to connect with each other face-to-face, without the distractions of technology.
One intern described the adventure challenge: "We spent the first 3 days doing teambuilding games to get to know each other, and spending those nights in cabins. After the first 2 days were up we headed out to a nearby campsite, where we slept in tents for the next 6 days, while having daily activities such as hiking or canoeing, and playing card games in between. Keep in mind that we weren’t allowed to have any technology during the challenge, so we had to actually get to know each other face to face." Another intern shared, "I had a blast on the Adventure Challenge." Another intern stated, "Outward Bound was a truly amazing experience - it was challenging and invigorating!"
