EgyptAir Student Discount Eligibility: A Comprehensive Guide

While airlines in North America may not always be the most generous with student discounts, European carriers are known for offering more options. This article explores the availability of student discounts on EgyptAir flights and provides related information.

Student Discounts on Flights: An Overview

Generally, discounts on flights are available for students and young adults. However, figuring out which airlines offer these discounts and whether you are eligible can be tricky.

EgyptAir Discounts and Promotions

  • Egyptair Coupons: Egyptair frequently offers coupons and promo codes. Recent promotions have included discounts such as 10% off the first order, up to 25% off deals, and even larger discounts of up to 70% on selected products. Keep an eye on the Egyptair website for current promotions.

EgyptAir and Miles&Smiles Program

Miles&Smiles members can earn Miles and Status Miles on flights operated by EgyptAir. Mileage accrual is determined based on the fare classes set by the operating airline. The percentage of flown Miles depends on the cabin class and booking class:

  • Business: C, D, J, Z - 150%
  • Economy: Y, B, M, Q, H, K - 100%
  • Economy: V, L - 25%

Booking classes not eligible for accrual: E, I, S, X, N, O, U, G, W, T, R.

On codeshare flights, the Turkish Airlines (THY) fare class indicated on the ticket may differ from the operating airline’s fare class. If the fare class designated by the operating airline does not qualify for mileage accrual, miles cannot be earned for that flight. It is advisable to retain your original boarding pass and a copy of your ticket until the Miles accrued from the flight appear on your Miles&Smiles account statement. The Miles&Smiles Program Terms and Conditions apply. Partner airlines reserve the right to change their flight destinations with prior notice. Some flights, as determined by the program partner, may not be eligible to earn Miles.
