Award nominations are solicited from Louisiana ENA members each spring and announced annually at the LENA education conferences.

- Mae Webb Excellence in Emergency Nursing Lifetime Achievement Award: Named in honor of Louisiana’s ENA founder, this award recognizes a nurse whose career reflects dedicated service, accomplishments, and contributions to emergency nursing. The enduring nature of the nurse’s achievements will have value beyond the recipient’s lifetime. Nominations require two letters of support by current ENA members and the nominee’s vitae.
- Distinguished Service Award: Honors a member of the LA ENA Board of Directors for their time, commitment, support, and inspiration to other board members and members of ENA. Nominations require a letter of support signed by two current ENA members.
- Injury Prevention Advocate Award: Honors an active ENA Injury Prevention volunteer who has served as a leader in the development and promotion of injury prevention programs in Louisiana. Nominations require a letter of support signed by two current LENA members.
- Special Recognition Award: Honors an Emergency Department Nurse who performs outstanding service in regards to emergency care.
LENA Scholarships

- Keith Richard Scholarship: This $500 scholarship honors the memory of Keith Richard, an ED Director at Opelousas General Health System. Applicants should be Louisiana ENA members pursuing an advanced degree with a focus on emergency nursing.
- Tim Butcher Scholarship: This $500 scholarship honors the memory of Tim Butcher, an expert on emergency preparedness. Applicants should be Louisiana ENA members pursuing a Baccalaureate degree or higher, preferably with a focus on nursing education.

- The Rebecca Andrews Scholarship: Provides financial assistance to one undergraduate and one graduate student each year.
