A Proud History
Ferris State University has a rich history. FSU joined Michigan's Higher Education System in 1950. Although a fire tragically destroyed the campus that same year, with only the Alumni Building surviving, the university has since rebuilt and expanded. Over 117 buildings have been constructed since the fire.
