The Audit Leadership Program aims to develop future leaders who can effectively manage people and processes within an audit environment. Interns in this program conduct independent and objective assessments of Fifth Third's business processes, risk management activities, and systems. The Audit Division conducts independent and objective assessments of Fifth Third's business processes, risk management activities and systems. Results are utilized by management to implement enhancements, resulting in improvements to Fifth Third's internal control environment, business performance and customer service. The program offers opportunities in Financial Audit and IT Audit.

Commercial and Credit Leadership Program (CAP)
This program focuses on developing future leaders who can deliver services and solutions to Fifth Third's commercial banking clients. The Commercial Leadership Program (CAP) will develop the skills necessary to assess the needs of corporate clients and determine how to best serve them. Interns experience rotations through various groups in Credit, Capital Markets, Treasury Management, and Sales and Relationship Management. Participants focus on analyzing client financial statements, financial modeling, assessing risk, and underwriting, with a focus on client interaction.

Consumer Leadership Program (CLP)
The Consumer Leadership Program is geared towards creating future leaders who can manage people and processes in a revenue-generating environment. The Consumer Bank works together as one unit to coordinate the delivery of deposit products, mortgages, auto loans, home equity loans, credit cards, and other consumer products. Interns lead teams, manage projects, and implement process improvement strategies to generate efficiencies for the bank while enhancing the customer experience.

Finance & Accounting Leadership Program (FALP)
This program aims to develop future leaders who can drive financial performance and growth across the organization while ensuring financial regulatory compliance. Participants will be responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and relevant fiscal information to support key business initiatives. Interns gain exposure to the corporate profit planning process, accounting policies and procedures, financial reporting and compliance processes, and external relationships with the investment banking community.

Information Technology Leadership Program (ITLP)
The ITLP focuses on creating future leaders who can drive value for the company by building customer-centric service delivery models through the integration of technologies, data, and processes. Participants will apply technical skills and expertise to projects that provide Information Technology services to users and/or customers with varied levels of complexity. They will gain exposure to IT activities conducted across business lines, Technology Risk Management Services, and Enterprise, Wholesale or Retail Applications. Our customers' trust is earned through the effective delivery of resilient, secure products and services while balancing business needs with industry and regulatory requirements.

Operations Leadership Program (OLP)
This program aims to develop future leaders who can manage people and processes in an operational environment, handling back-office and contact center services for nearly six million customers. Our objective is to operate as an efficient, behind-the-scenes machine to allow transactions to be seamlessly executed and to optimize every customer interaction for our internal and external customers. Interns build a solid foundation of critical skill sets such as supervisory, customer experience, operational excellence, and process improvement.

Risk Management Leadership Program (RLP)
The Risk Management Leadership Program aims to develop future leaders with a strong foundation in risk management. The two-year Risk Management Leadership Program provides exposure to eight risk categories and offers challenging rotational assignments developing skills in program development and governance, monitoring, verification/testing, reporting and oversight and effective change. Interns will be given an assignment similar to a RLP rotation, but scaled appropriately for the internship.

Wealth and Asset Management Leadership Program (WAMLP)
This program focuses on creating future leaders who are committed to providing smart financial solutions to clients. The Investment Advisors Division is comprised of Fifth Third Private Bank, Fifth Third Securities, ClearArc Capital, and Fifth Third Institutional Services. Interns gain exposure to the foundational structure of investment advisory services and work to provide products and services to both individual and corporate clients of the Bank.

Syndicated Leveraged Finance Internship Program
Fifth Third Bank’s project-based Syndicated Leveraged Finance Internship Program provides college students the opportunity to participate in a hands-on program supporting the group in Charlotte, NC. Students will perform a wide range of complex analytical, valuation and financial modeling analyses and assists in development of presentation materials to support the pitching and execution of leveraged finance transactions. Requires highly skilled quantitative, analytical and communication skills, along with the ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines. Requires the ability to synthesize large amounts of information to help senior members of the deal team develop innovative client solutions.
Core Responsibilities and Expectations
Interns at Fifth Third Bank are expected to be responsible and accountable for risk, encouraged to openly exchange ideas and opinions, elevate concerns, and follow policies and procedures to safeguard the company. Minimum Skills and Experience
