Navigating Georgia Bulldogs Student Tickets: A Comprehensive Guide
For University of Georgia students eager to cheer on the Bulldogs, understanding the student ticket system is essential. This guide provides complete information about eligibility, application processes, ticket allocation, and important policies surrounding student tickets for Georgia Bulldogs games.
Eligibility and Application
Student ticket applications will become available on Wednesday, August 13th, 2025. To be eligible to request home, away, and neutral site tickets, undergraduate students must be taking 12 credit hours, while graduate/professional students need to be enrolled in 9 credit hours in the fall. The application deadline is (Noon) on Wednesday, August 20th, 2025. Students will login to their online account by clicking the ‘Student Login’ link beneath the ‘Students’ tab at www.georgiadogs.com/tickets.
Ticket Packages and Priority System
Home game ticket packages are subject to demand and availability. Partial season ticket packages may be issued according to the prioritized lottery system should demand exceed availability. In the event ticket demand exceeds supply, a priority system will take effect. The system was approved by SGA and the Athletic Board of Directors in 2022. The student ticket proposal can be found here.
Away Game Tickets
Students must purchase a ticket package in order to be eligible to purchase away game tickets. Away game tickets are limited to one per student, subject to availability. In the event ticket demand exceeds supply for away games, a priority system will take effect.
Important Dates
- Student ticket applications open: Wednesday, August 13th, 2025.
- Student ticket applications deadline: Wednesday, August 20th, 2025 (Noon).
- Credit/debit card processing: August 25th and August 28th.
- Ticket order cancellation deadline: August 22nd at noon.
Game Day Procedures
Students will be asked to bring their student ID with them to every home game. Any students who are found to have their ID not matching the name on the ticket will be asked to leave the stadium. Digital Tickets Will only be accepted at gates. Student tickets will be made active the day before each home game, no later than 12pm. Gates will open two hours prior to the advertised game start time. Students waiting to enter the stadium at or shortly prior to kick off will encounter lengthy lines at the gate and will run the risk of missing kick off.

Ticket Donation and the "Strike" System
Students who return/donate a ticket to a game they are unable to attend will NOT be given a “strike” for that game. The deadline to request tickets via the donation pool will be Wednesday at 12:00pm the week of each home game. Students may request a max of 1 ticket per game. Those who were previously awarded a ticket to a given game may NOT request a donated ticket to that same event. Requesting tickets does not guarantee assignment.
The Student Football Ticket penalty system is operated through a point scale. An unused ticket on a student account will result in a one-point penalty “strike.” Two strikes in a given season deem that student ineligible for post-season tickets (SEC Championship and bowl/playoff tickets). Post-season tickets will be determined by overall hours earned and strikes received during the season (Priority given to undergraduates first).
Students are encouraged to use all student football tickets allocated to them. If you are unable to attend one or more of the games to which you have been awarded a ticket, you can donate those tickets back to the Georgia Ticket Office. You will not be refunded for donated tickets. Students will donate tickets via their online account at www.georgiadogs.com/tickets. Students are only allowed to donate tickets they are unable to use directly to the pool. The option to transfer directly to another student is no longer available. Students have 5 days to appeal.
Important Policies
- Unfortunately due to demand for Georgia Football student tickets, students are only able to submit for one ticket.
- Unfortunately student tickets are not eligible for transfers.
- Students who cannot attend a home game can donate their ticket back to the ticket office to avoid a strike and their ticket will be given to a student in need at random.
- Student seating is general admission.
Seating Arrangements
Sections 309, 310, 311 (Rows 1-20) & 312 (Rows 1-20) are reserved for student organization block seating with the appropriate wristband. New this year, your georgiadogs.com account will not be permanently bound to your Apple account.
Financial Information
Student tickets will be charged to credit/debit card used on the student ticket application. All cards will be processed between August 25th and August 28th. Prior to these dates, students should make sure they have sufficient funds in their account to cover the ticket balance due for all tickets requested. The deadline to cancel any ticket orders is by August 22nd at noon. After this date and time, cancelations will not be accepted.
