By Car:
- From the New York City area, take the NY State Thruway N. (I-87) to Exit 19 (Kingston), then take Rte. 28 W. to Shandaken. Turn right onto Rte. 42 to Lexington. Turn left at Lexington to Rte. 23A, which becomes Rte. 23 W. Follow this into Oneonta.
- From the south, get onto I-81 N. through Scranton, PA, into Binghamton, NY. Take I-88 E. to Oneonta.

Three motels are within 10 minutes by car of the college: the Clarion Hotel (Main Street; 607-432-7500), and Holiday Inn (NY Rte. 23; 607-433-2250).
