Hybrid Learning Sites

Students at hybrid Learning Sites attend in person four days a week, following a structured school day that blends interactive online coursework with face-to-face instruction in small group settings.

Fully Online

Students learn fully online, with the flexibility to study from home while still receiving guidance and academic support from HOPE educators.

History and Evolution

The Hope School, now known as The Hope Learning Academy, was founded in 1957 in Springfield, Illinois, by Dr. and Mrs. Charles Jordan. Their personal experience with their daughter, Judith Ann, who was born with multiple disabilities, fueled their vision to create a place where children with similar challenges could learn and thrive. What started as a small home-based initiative has expanded into a leading provider of services for individuals with intellectual, developmental, and behavioral disorders, with a 26-acre campus near Lake Springfield.
