Kids & Company: Before- and After-School Child Care

Kids & Company is Hopkins Public Schools’ premier school-age before-school and after-school child care program. Note that Kids & Company is at full capacity for the 2025-26 school year. Families are also encouraged to explore additional childcare options, such as Hopkins Community Education Youth Enrichment for before and after school classes.

Non-School Days Program Status

The Non-School Days program is currently at capacity for all Non-School Days for the 2025-26 school year. To inquire about waitlist availability for specific dates, contact the NSD site directly. Youth Enrichment also offers Non-School Day activities, camps, and field trips.

Scholarship / Assistance Options

Registration and Important Information

Class Catalogs

Hopkins Community Education offers seasonal classes, with new catalogs released regularly. Summer 2026 classes are open for registration, and the Winter/Spring catalog is also available for browsing.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • A refund of the class registration fee is provided if cancellation is requested five business days prior to the first class, minus a $5 cancellation fee.
  • There will be no refunds for class fees $5 and under.
  • Hopkins Public Schools reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment. In such cases, participants will be contacted and arrangements will be made to refund the class fee.

Using Eleyo

For those new to the online registration system, a new account setup is required. Setting up a profile for every family member ensures the most accurate and relevant information is received.

Facility Use and Special Events

Hopkins Event Services provides special event services from planning to execution. Customers receive personal attention and assistance in planning their events.

Eisenhower Observatory

The Eisenhower Observatory has re-opened. Registration is open for various dates through December to view the night sky through the Lawrence Sauter telescope located inside the Observatory Dome atop the Eisenhower Community Center.
