Incarnate Word Academy Tuition and Fees: A Comprehensive Guide

Incarnate Word Academy (IWA) is committed to providing a comprehensive educational experience to its students. Tuition for Grades K-8

For the 2025-2026 school year, the tuition for Grades K - 8 is $7,300. The teacher-to-student ratio in these grades is approximately 1 to 19, ensuring personalized attention for each student.

Kinder Prep Program Tuition

IWA offers both Half Day and Full Day Kinder Prep programs. For the 2025-2026 school year, the tuition for the Half Day Kinder Prep Program is $4,600, while the tuition for the Full Day Kinder Prep Program is $6,400. Upon enrollment in the Kinder Prep program, a 10% deposit is required to secure a child’s seat.

Financial Aid and Tuition Assistance

Incarnate Word Academy provides Financial Aid and Tuition Assistance for students in Grades K - 8. Full and partial tuition scholarships are available for qualified students, based on financial need. The financial aid application process is administered through FACTS.

Payment Options

Tuition payments run from July 15, 2025, through May 15, 2026. Payments can be made through FACTS or the parish office using one of the following options:

Active Parishioner Tuition Rate

An Active Parishioner Tuition Rate is available to school families who meet specific criteria:

  • Registered parishioners
  • Submission of an annual Stewardship Commitment Card online or to the parish office

  • Contribution to the financial needs of the parish
  • Participation in at least one Parish Ministry and one Parish Event to grow in faith and serve the needs of the parish and larger community

Fees for International Students

International students entering on an F-1 student visa must provide proof of their financial resources to cover their educational and living expenses while studying in the United States. Incarnate Word requires international students to pay all tuition and fees, including the insurance fee, at the beginning of the academic year or semester.

Proof of Financial Support may come from any dependable source, including personal funds, immediate family, scholarships, fellowships, or sponsoring agencies. A bank statement, in English, showing evidence of adequate funds, is required.

Payments made to IWA are payable using a United States bank account or credit card and are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).

Additional Requirements for International Students

International students must meet specific requirements to study at Incarnate Word Academy:

  • Report Cards for the previous three years
  • A Financial Resources statement verifying who will be financially responsible while the student is studying with IWA.
  • Students must reside with a biological family member or acquire a host family to live with during the program study period.
  • Proof of Health Insurance Coverage in the USA.
  • TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of 197 on the computer test or 71 on the internet test (iBT) is preferred. Scores must be from June 2016 or later. Students who do not have the preferred TOEFL score or never took the test can submit IELTS results in lieu of TOEFL. Other English language tests may also be accepted to help us assess the applicant’s English language skills.
  • Students shall arrive in the City of Corpus Christi no later than three days prior to the Fall Semester which begins in early August.
  • International students must maintain current and accurate demographic information with the SEVIS Coordinator for this campus.
