Total Rewards Package

From substantial paid time off to generous retirement contributions to tuition reimbursement, we are proud to offer our employees a highly competitive benefits package. In fact, our benefits sometimes make candidates do a double take! The IUF offers a comprehensive total rewards package, including:

  • Generous Holidays & Paid Days Off: IUF employees receive 12 paid holidays a year. Full-time employees who’ve worked up to and including 5 years at the IU Foundation earn 30 days of PTO per year (2.5 days per month), and 36 days per year (3 days per month), after 5 years of service.
  • Defined Contribution Retirement Plan: The IUF contributes 10% of your base salary into a 403(b) Annuity Plan, with no required match by the employee. You may contribute additional funds to the plan on a pre-tax or after-tax basis.
  • Health Care Benefits: Employees enjoy comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, with preventative care covered 100%. Machine-readable files via UnitedHealthcare provide transparency in coverage.
  • Health Savings Account: Each pay period, a generous HSA deposit is made for employees enrolled in the IUF’s High Deductible Health Plan. Unused account balances roll over from year to year, and funds belong to the employee.
  • Health Investment Program: Through our Health Investment Program, an annual maximum of $500 per employee with spouse and/or family can be used toward health and fitness memberships, activity trackers, fitness equipment, weight loss programs, chronic disease management education and apps, registration cost for athletic/running events, nutrition classes, healthy cooking classes and other health-related expenses.
  • Professional Development: IUF employees have the opportunity to attend training sessions throughout the year. Each employee can work with their manager to identify professional development opportunities that will enable them to grow in their career.
  • Personal & Family Tuition Reimbursement: Employees, their spouses, and their children are all eligible to receive tuition reimbursement at in-state rates for courses taken at any IU campus up to a maximum of $5,250 per calendar year.
  • Health & Wellness Programming: From health coaching, lunch & learns, group exercise classes, and wellness challenges, the IU Foundation offers employees a wide range of resources to optimize personal well-being.
  • Other Benefits: IU Foundation offers life insurance, long term disability, and employee assistance program benefits. Additional benefits include voluntary short-term disability, and a one-time twelve-week paid leave, which allows staff to take time off for FMLA-qualifying reasons with pay.
