As of 1 July 2024, UNV no longer considers age as a criterion for eligibility. All candidates between the ages of 18 and 80 are now eligible for assignments, regardless of category. Effective 1 January 2025, all UN Volunteer assignments will have a duration of 3 to 48 months. There may also be requirements of relevant professional and academic experience, as well as language proficiency. International UN Volunteer assignments may generally run from three to 12 months, with the possibility of extending contracts up to a maximum period of four years. UN Youth Volunteers may serve from six months to two years, and UN University Volunteers from three to six months.

My time in Peru, even if short, was very sweet and left me memories that I will always remember!
